We are Maravilha do Samba, bringing the heart and soul of Rio to Sweden. For 20 years, we've ignited stages all over Europe with the magical rhythms and energy of the Brazilian Carnival.

Beginner samba drum classes
Learn a new skill, or simply have fun! All for free (we are a community group and are non-profit). Our classes are designed to cater to all ages and abilities. You can borrow all instruments and drum sticks. Just bring yourself and a positive attitude. Workshops are on Wednesdays between 18:00 - 19:30.
Why we love samba
Everyone is welcome, whether you're a percussion pro or a complete beginner. Samba is a unique art form with a rich history and tradition. Learning the techniques, rhythms and songs is a life long and enriching journey.
Learning
We perform with players and dancers from all over the world. There are also international events where we all play, sing and dance together, including 'SES' a yearly event where all of Sweden's samba groups unite (up to 400 people!).
Community
The joy of performing to a audience is incredible. And playing a parade… There is nothing like it! You’ll be performing before you know it (we also play all over europe!).

We create an atmosphere of warmth and support - who ever you are. Difference is what makes us stronger.

Who needs the gym when you can dance and drum your way to fitness! Drumming engages your body and mind simultaneously, promoting brain and body development.
